Our core commitments. Voffi does not sell personal information, serve advertising, or use Firebase Analytics. We use information to provide and secure the features a person chooses, limit public leaderboard information, and provide controls for location, sharing, and privacy requests. Because Voffi is collaborative, information intentionally added to a household may remain with that household as explained below.
Plain-language summary: Voffi stores information people choose to organize care for pets. Authorized household members and caregivers can see information shared with them. Walk features can use precise background location. A limited pet leaderboard may be available to signed-in Voffi users. The current launch flow presents a versioned public-or-private choice, while earlier implementations may have treated eligible scores as visible unless disabled, as explained in Section 6. We use service providers for infrastructure, sign-in, maps, subscriptions, crash diagnostics, and manual support email. The sections below provide the complete details and control over this summary.
1. Scope and responsible operator
This Privacy Policy applies to the Voffi iPhone application, voffiapp.com, the Voffi caregiver web experience, and related support and communications (together, the “Services”). Voffi is initially offered for iPhone; we do not promise an Android version. The Services may be available in English, Japanese, Spanish, and additional languages.
Appsique Solutions LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (Entity ID 2026-001980585), operates Voffi and is the controller or business responsible for the core processing described in this policy. Our registered and business mailing address is 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA. Our authorized representative is Joseph Daniszewski, Founder and CEO. In this policy, “Voffi,” “Appsique,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Appsique Solutions LLC.
A household owner or member decides what to enter about pets, members, caregivers, veterinarians, emergency contacts, and other people. Anyone entering another person’s information must have authority to do so and provide any notice or obtain any permission required by law. In some circumstances, that person may have separate legal responsibilities for their own use or disclosure of the information.
2. What Voffi does and does not do
- Voffi organizes pet profiles, routines, activities, walks, health and care records, calendars, media, household collaboration, caregiver access, and subscription features.
- Voffi is not a veterinary clinic, healthcare provider, emergency service, or substitute for veterinary advice, diagnosis, treatment, or an official medical record.
- Pet records can reveal sensitive facts about people, including a home location, routine, travel, or medication-related activity. Users should share only what is appropriate.
- Voffi does not use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about a person.
- Our website does not intentionally place advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or product-analytics cookies. Hosting and network providers still receive ordinary request and security data.
3. Information we process
| Category | Examples | Primary use and visibility |
|---|---|---|
| Account and identity | Email address, display name, profile photo, country, language, unit preferences, authentication provider, verification state, account and installation identifiers. | Create, authenticate, secure, personalize, and support an account. A member’s name and photo may be visible within an authorized household. |
| Household and membership | Household name, owner and member roles, invitations, status, permissions, and who completed an activity. | Coordinate shared care, enforce permissions, and attribute activity to authorized members. |
| Caregivers and other contacts | Caregiver name and contact details, access dates, selected pets and responsibilities, claim credentials; veterinarian, insurance, emergency, or home-entry details and instructions. | Create limited care access and display user-provided contacts or instructions to people the household authorizes. A named person may not have a Voffi account. |
| Pet profiles | Name, image, species, breed, sex, birthday or adoption date, traits, microchip details, weight, allergies, and notes. | Build the pet profile and personalize care tools. The limited leaderboard fields described in Section 6 may be visible to other signed-in users. |
| Care, routines, and calendars | Meals, water, walks, litter or habitat care, medication completion, goals, routines, titles, notes, recurrence, assignments, timestamps, and completion state. | Schedule, coordinate, attribute, remind, and review care within the household and with configured caregivers. |
| Pet health-related records | Vaccines, weights, medications, supplements, symptoms, observations, providers, insurance, dosage schedules, completion history, and proof files. | Help authorized people organize pet-care information. Although generally not human health records, entries may reveal information about a person. |
| Precise location and walks | GPS route points and segments, timestamps, altitude, course, speed, accuracy, pauses, distance, duration, pace, elevation, heatmaps, event coordinates, route previews, and live position. | Record, summarize, map, and optionally share a walk with authorized participants and map providers. |
| Photos, documents, and metadata | Pet and activity photos, walk photos, documents, file name, type, size, upload time, and metadata retained in a file. | Store, display, share, and export user uploads for authorized participants. |
| Communications | Support, privacy, legal, and security email; request content, attachments, troubleshooting details, and response history. | Respond to requests, investigate problems, keep necessary records, and protect the Services. |
| Public website tool drafts | Pet and household-member names, schedules, caregiver names and dates, contact details, routines, owner-provided medication instructions, emergency plans, notes, and checklist selections entered into the free planning tools. | Build a schedule or handoff in the user’s browser. These drafts are stored in browser local storage on that device and are not submitted to a Voffi account or Voffi’s cloud systems. |
| Device, network, and diagnostics | Device and operating-system type, app version, IP address, browser request, push token, errors, crash stack, diagnostic state, App Check or abuse-prevention signals, and security events. | Deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and improve reliability. Voffi uses Crashlytics as described below but not Firebase Analytics or Firebase Performance. |
| Purchases and entitlements | Voffi Pro product and plan, store, account-linked or pseudonymous purchaser identifier, transaction, trial, renewal, expiration, restore, entitlement, and webhook state. | Offer, verify, restore, and support monthly or annual App Store subscriptions and a three-day trial. Apple, not Voffi, receives full payment-card details. |
| Leaderboard information | Pet name, pet avatar URL, breed, country code, distance and time totals, last-walk end time, ranking, and premium status. | Display the signed-in-user leaderboard. It does not include a route, exact coordinates, health record, household name, or member name. |
Free-text fields and files can contain more sensitive information than Voffi requests. Do not upload information you do not have authority to use or disclose, and remove unnecessary metadata from files before uploading when appropriate.
4. Where information comes from
We receive information directly from account holders, household members, and caregivers; automatically from the app, browser, device, sensors, and network when a feature is used; from Apple or Google when a user selects their sign-in service; from Apple and RevenueCat for subscription state; from people who invite others or enter non-user contacts; and from service providers that return security, diagnostic, delivery, or support information.
If another person added your contact information, activity, image, or role, contact the relevant household owner when practical or email privacy@voffiapp.com.
5. Purposes and legal bases
We use information to create and protect accounts; synchronize and display pet-care information; provide households, roles, caregiver access, routines, calendars, notifications, maps, walk recording, live sharing, media, documents, trends, goals, and leaderboards; deliver subscription access; troubleshoot crashes; prevent fraud or abuse; respond to requests; comply with law; and enforce our agreements.
Where law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Contract: to provide account, household, care, walk, storage, subscription, export, and support features a user requests.
- Consent: where required, including for device permissions such as precise or background location, photos, and notifications. A platform permission is also a technical control and is not treated as legal consent where the law requires something more.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the Services, prevent abuse, diagnose crashes, maintain service integrity, communicate about the account, operate limited signed-in-user leaderboard publication with objection and removal controls, and protect Appsique, users, animals, and the public, where those interests are not overridden by a person’s rights.
- Legal obligation: to retain transaction or request records, respond to lawful process, and meet applicable consumer, tax, accounting, privacy, and safety duties.
Where we ask for consent, it can be withdrawn through the relevant app, device, or provider control. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully and may prevent the related feature from working.
6. Shared households, caregivers, and the leaderboard
Household members
A Voffi household is collaborative. Depending on role and controls, authorized members can see pet profiles, routines, plans, pet health and care history, media, walks, member names, and activity attribution. Removing someone stops future authorized access but cannot retract screenshots, exports, notifications, or copies already obtained.
Caregiver access
A household owner can give a caregiver time-limited access for selected pets and responsibilities. That may expose tasks, instructions, medication information, recent activity, active-walk status, and separately enabled home-entry, veterinary, or emergency details. A claim code or link should be protected like a password and revoked if exposed.
Leaderboard visibility
Leaderboard visibility is controlled by the signed-in account’s Settings preference and may be enabled unless the account disables it. Eligible dog scores may be shown to other signed-in Voffi users. A visible entry may include the dog’s name, profile image, breed, country or flag, aggregate distance and time, last-walk time, derived rank, and Voffi Pro status. It does not include the route, exact coordinates, household or member identity, email address, health records, or care notes. If leaderboard support expands to other species, the same visibility control and data-minimization rules will apply.
The leaderboard preference is currently account-level, while scores are pet-based. Activity recorded by another authorized household member may affect the same pet’s score or visibility. A user can disable leaderboard visibility in Settings or object by emailing privacy@voffiapp.com. A settings change may not immediately retract earlier entries, caches, or another household member’s authorized update. For removal of an active entry or a household disagreement, email the privacy address; after verification, Appsique will remove or restrict the active entry without undue delay. A removal cannot retract a screenshot, export, cache, or copy another user already made.
User-directed sharing
When a user exports a file, shares a walk card or image, or sends content to another service, the chosen recipient and destination control their copy under their own terms. Review content before sharing it.
7. Walk recording, live location, and Mapbox telemetry
Voffi collects precise location only when a person grants the relevant iPhone permission and uses a location feature such as walk recording. A walk can continue recording in the background. Voffi uses route points to draw the route and estimate distance, time, pace, elevation, pauses, heatmaps, and walk events. Device accuracy, terrain, connectivity, and permissions can make results incomplete or inaccurate. Users can stop a walk or change location permission in iOS Settings; disabling background or precise location can limit the feature.
Live walk sharing is optional. A live session is limited to a maximum of approximately 12 hours. Viewer authorization is short-lived, approximately 15 minutes at a time, and realtime session data is targeted for cleanup shortly after the walk ends. These controls do not delete a completed route, provider log, backup, notification, or recipient copy.
Voffi uses Mapbox to display maps and routes. Mapbox receives map requests and associated IP, device, and location information needed to provide the selected feature. Mapbox states that its Maps SDK sends de-identified location and usage telemetry by default when the app causes it to be gathered. Voffi keeps Mapbox’s built-in telemetry participation control available in the attribution menu: tap the information (“i”) button on a Mapbox map to opt out or resume participation. This choice affects Mapbox telemetry but does not stop map requests or signals required to operate or account for the mapping service. See Mapbox’s Privacy Policy.
A route-privacy or endpoint-hiding feature changes what a supported sharing surface displays. It does not mean Voffi never collected the underlying route, and other route details may still allow a location to be inferred.
8. Service providers and disclosures
| Provider | Role | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase | Authentication, Firestore, file storage, Cloud Functions, realtime features, push messaging, hosting, Remote Config, App Check, and Crashlytics. Firebase Authentication can send verification and password-reset email. | Account identifiers, user content, files, device and network data, push tokens, security signals, and crash diagnostics. Firebase Analytics and Firebase Performance are disabled. |
| Apple | Sign in with Apple, App Store and StoreKit subscriptions, Apple Push Notification service, device permissions, and platform features. | Apple-provided account data, purchase and entitlement data, device token, and information necessary for a selected platform feature. Apple independently controls payment credentials. |
| Google Sign-In | Optional account authentication. | The account identifier, name, email, profile image, and authentication data Google provides after the user selects Google Sign-In. |
| RevenueCat | Voffi Pro trial, subscription, entitlement, renewal, and restore management. | Pseudonymous or account-linked purchaser identifiers, aliases, product, transaction, renewal, expiration, entitlement, and webhook information. |
| Mapbox | Map display, route visualization, and related mapping features. | Map requests, IP and device data, required location, and optional telemetry subject to the controls in Section 7. |
| Google Workspace | Manual support, privacy, legal, and security email handled by Voffi personnel. | Sender and recipient address, email content, attachments, routing metadata, and response history. Workspace is not currently connected to automated invitation delivery. |
| Unsplash and content delivery providers | Remotely hosted visual content used on some informational or onboarding surfaces. | Ordinary request information such as IP address, user agent, requested asset, and time. |
At the effective date, Firebase Authentication handles verification and password-reset email. Google Workspace is used manually. Voffi does not currently use Workspace SMTP or API for automated invitations. If we add an automated transactional-email provider, we will identify the processing in this policy before using it for personal information.
We may disclose information to professional advisers, insurers, auditors, and competent authorities where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or establish or defend legal claims. If Appsique is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, insolvency, or sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction subject to applicable law and notice.
Voffi does not receive payment in exchange for personal information and does not display third-party advertising at the effective date of this policy.
9. Advertising, analytics, cookies, and diagnostics
Voffi does not display third-party advertising at launch. It does not use personal information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. If Appsique later introduces advertising, we will update this policy and provide any consent, notice, or opt-out controls required by applicable law before enabling it.
Firebase Analytics is disabled. Voffi does not use it to record product event analytics. Firebase Performance Monitoring is also disabled.
Firebase Crashlytics is enabled to help identify and fix failures. Crash reports may contain a crash stack, app and operating-system version, device model, time, pseudonymous installation identifiers, and limited technical state near the failure. We do not intentionally put care notes, health files, complete routes, or exact live location into crash reports. Crash diagnostics are retained under the schedule in Section 11.
The public website does not intentionally set advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or product-analytics cookies. Essential hosting and security functions can process IP address, browser type, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp. The free schedule and caregiver-handoff tools use browser local storage to keep a draft on the device, as explained in Section 10. If our website practices change, we will update this policy and provide a consent or opt-out control where required.
10. Device, browser, notification, and offline information
Voffi may keep an authentication session, cached Firestore records, cached images, maps or files, preferences, active-walk route buffer, pending-write queue, upload state, and temporary widget or Live Activity information on a device. The caregiver website uses essential browser storage for its authentication session. The free schedule builder and caregiver handoff checklist save the draft in browser local storage so it remains available on that device. The draft is not synchronized to a Voffi account, backed up by Voffi, or available on another device. Use the tool’s clear control or clear the site’s browser data to remove it, and avoid entering sensitive contact or medication information on a shared device.
Cached information can remain until it is cleared, the user signs out where supported, or app or website data is removed. A queued app action may synchronize when connectivity returns.
Push notifications, widgets, and Live Activities can display pet names, care reminders, medication-related text, walk status, or household details on a lock screen or paired device. Users control notification permission and preview visibility in iOS Settings. Anyone using a caregiver pass on a shared device should end the session and clear browser data when finished.
11. Retention, household records, and deletion
We use the following retention schedule, subject to a longer period where law, a dispute, fraud prevention, security, or a valid legal hold requires it:
| Information | Retention |
|---|---|
| Active account and household content | Until the user or authorized household owner deletes it, subject to shared-record rules below. |
| Completed walk routes, pet health records, care history, photos, and files | Until individually deleted where supported or the associated household is deleted. |
| Live walk-sharing data | A session is limited to approximately 12 hours, viewer authorization to approximately 15 minutes, and realtime data is targeted for cleanup shortly after the walk ends. A completed route follows the preceding row. |
| Verified account-deletion request | Until the authenticated in-app deletion service is deployed and verified, submit a request from the account email to privacy@voffiapp.com. We begin processing after proportionate verification and aim to remove covered active-system data within 30 days, subject to shared records, legal exceptions, and any period required by applicable law. |
| Provider backups | Target deletion or irreversible expiry within 90 days after removal from active systems. This target remains subject to verification of Firebase and other provider backup configurations. |
| Support, privacy, legal, and security correspondence | 24 months after the request is closed, unless needed longer for a dispute, security matter, or legal requirement. |
| Security and authentication logs | 12 months, unless needed longer for an active investigation or provider security requirement. |
| Purchase, tax, and accounting records | Seven years or a longer period required by applicable law. |
| Crash diagnostics | 90 days. |
| De-identified aggregate statistics | May be kept indefinitely where re-identification is not reasonably possible. |
| Local device or browser cache and public-tool drafts | Until cleared, signed out where supported, the tool’s clear control is used, or app or site data is removed. |
Shared records
- When a member leaves, shared care records remain with the household.
- When a member deletes an account, we remove or de-identify the member’s personal profile where feasible, while necessary shared care history may remain attributed to “Former member.”
- When a sole household owner deletes an account, the household and its content are included. An owner with other members must transfer ownership or remove those members first to prevent accidental deletion of their shared household.
- Existing authorized members can retain records another member created, subject to the de-identification rule above and applicable law.
Current deletion channel: follow the account-deletion instructions and email the request from the address used for Voffi. The authenticated in-app deletion service is not yet deployed and verified, so an in-app error is not confirmation that the account or associated cloud data was deleted. We will confirm completion or explain any information that must remain.
A verified deletion request covers the Firebase identity and Voffi-controlled account records; eligible household data and stored files; device registrations; live-session data; eligible public leaderboard entries; caregiver and invitation access; and the RevenueCat customer record, where Appsique controls those records and subject to the shared-record and retention rules above. A completed request does not cancel an Apple subscription, erase another person’s copy, remove Apple or Google records they independently control, or necessarily erase provider backups and logs before their applicable retention periods end.
The 90-day backup target is an operational goal, not a representation that every provider backup configuration has already been independently verified. Backup data is not restored for ordinary use and is expected to expire through provider rotation. Deleting the app does not delete the account. Deleting an account does not cancel an App Store subscription; subscriptions must be managed through Apple.
12. International processing and transfers
Appsique is established in the United States. Voffi’s primary Firebase data resources are configured in the United States: Firestore uses the nam5 U.S. multi-region, Storage uses US-CENTRAL1, Cloud Functions primarily use us-central1, and the Realtime Database is U.S.-hosted. Firebase Hosting and other providers may use globally distributed networks, and Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Mapbox, and Google Workspace may process information in the United States and other countries.
When applicable law restricts international transfers, we rely on provider contractual commitments and safeguards, standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, certifications, or another lawful mechanism appropriate to the transfer. Users may contact us for information about safeguards applicable to their information. Laws and government-access rules in a destination may differ from those in a user’s home country.
13. Security and data integrity
We use safeguards designed for the nature of the information, including authentication, household roles and access rules, encrypted network transport provided by platforms and vendors, Firebase security rules, App Check or device-attestation capabilities, restricted caregiver permissions, expiring access, crash monitoring, and provider security controls. We review access and use reasonable processes to respond to security incidents.
No service can guarantee perfect security, and Voffi is not represented as end-to-end encrypted. Users must protect credentials, devices, caregiver codes, claim links, exports, and downloaded files. A valid claim link, signed-in browser, unlocked device, notification preview, exported file, or recipient copy can expose information outside Voffi’s controls. Report suspected security issues to privacy@voffiapp.com.
14. Privacy choices and requests
Depending on location and applicable law, a person may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; receive portable information; withdraw consent; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; appeal a denied request; and complain to a privacy authority. Voffi does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We do not discriminate unlawfully against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
Users can edit many records in Voffi and use iOS Settings for location, photos, and notifications. Leaderboard visibility, caregiver passes, live sharing, and household membership have their own product controls. Revoking permission stops or limits future feature use but does not automatically delete information already collected.
Send requests to privacy@voffiapp.com. We aim to respond within 30 days after receipt and verification, subject to the shorter or longer period, permissible extension, and exceptions provided by applicable law. If more time is permitted and needed, we will explain why.
- Verification: we may require reauthentication or a request from the verified account email and enough information to confirm the relevant account, household role, and request.
- Authorized agents: an agent may submit a request with signed authorization. We may verify the agent’s identity, authority, and the user’s identity or direct confirmation as permitted by law.
- Exports: where applicable and technically available, we provide structured records in JSON or CSV and uploaded media in a ZIP archive. Some provider, security, third-party, or legally protected information may be excluded.
- Appeals: if local law provides an appeal right, reply to the decision or email legal@voffiapp.com.
15. Regional information
European Economic Area and United Kingdom. Appsique does not configure Voffi’s general App Store availability to exclude these regions, but it does not currently purchase or direct advertising or marketing campaigns specifically to EEA or UK audiences. General availability alone does not decide whether the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies; the actual offering and processing facts control. Location recording, live sharing, route histories, heatmaps, activity trends, and rankings may also be relevant to whether processing monitors behavior in a region, independently of advertising. Where either law applies to a processing activity, users may exercise access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and consent-withdrawal rights and complain to their local supervisory authority.
Appsique has not appointed an EU Article 27 representative or UK representative. This does not limit any right a person has under applicable law; requests should be sent directly to the controller using Section 20. Appsique will reassess territorial scope and representative requirements based on actual users, feature use, monitoring, and processing, not only advertising, and will publish representative details if an appointment becomes legally required.
California and other U.S. states. Where a state privacy law applies, residents may exercise the applicable rights listed in Section 14. Voffi does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or process it for targeted advertising. We use precise location only for requested location features and do not use it to infer unrelated characteristics. We honor legally required authorized-agent and appeal processes. Because we do not engage in sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, there is currently no such processing for a browser preference signal to opt out of.
Japan. Where Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information applies, the purposes of use, categories, disclosures, foreign processing, security practices, and request channels are described in this policy. Requests for disclosure, correction, cessation of use, or deletion can be submitted under Section 14, subject to the APPI.
16. Children
Voffi is intended for account holders who are at least 18 and have reached the age of legal majority where they live. It is not directed or marketed to children, and we do not knowingly create independent accounts for children.
A minor may participate only through a household managed by a parent or legal guardian. The adult is responsible for supervising use, choosing what information is entered or shared, and providing any legally required permission or notice. If we learn that a child created an account or that information was collected without required authorization, contact privacy@voffiapp.com so we can investigate and delete or restrict it as required.
17. Automated outputs
Voffi calculates reminders, goals, streaks, route and activity summaries, due states, rankings, and other organizational outputs from user-entered and sensor data. These outputs do not produce legal or similarly significant effects about a person and are not veterinary determinations. They may be incomplete or inaccurate.
18. Third-party links and destinations
The Services can link to app stores, maps, provider policies, email, shared destinations, or other services we do not control. Those services process information under their own terms and notices. Review a destination before sharing an export or continuing to it.
19. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Services, providers, configurations, regions, or laws change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional in-app, email, or website notice when required. If we rely on consent for a materially different purpose, we will request it before that processing begins.
