Share only what is needed
If a sitter only needs meals and walks, unrelated records and household activity can stay private.
Temporary pet caregiver access with boundaries
A pet sitter, walker, relative, or neighbor may need clear instructions for a few days, not permanent access to the entire household. Choose the pets, responsibilities, and dates that fit the visit.

Selected pets only; Coral and Nova remain outside this care assignment.
The owner can review the scope and revoke access when plans change.
A different role from a household member
An ongoing household member may help across pets, schedules, and records every day. A temporary caregiver usually has a narrower job: feed two pets over a weekend, walk one dog, give medication using owner-supplied instructions, or complete a habitat check while someone is away.
Voffi separates those situations. During setup, the owner chooses who is helping, which pets are included, what types of care the person may handle, and when access should apply. The caregiver can focus on the assigned plan, while completed actions contribute to the household’s shared history.

Prepare the handoff
A digital handoff is strongest when access boundaries, practical directions, and backup contacts are all considered before the owner leaves.

Include quantities, locations, routines, and medication directions provided by your veterinarian.
Confirm how the caregiver can reach you, your veterinarian, and another trusted person if plans change.
